When we think about stories, we often think about people. But stories can be about just about anything. One time, a reporter who worked for me at the St. Petersburg Times wrote a story about lug nuts. When you're driving a race car 200 mph, they're especially important.

Among the things I've been learning about of late is telling stories that can benefit or educate the reader but also might build a connection between the reader and a business.
